B.R.U.S.H. features
A professional hairstylist is skilled at using a hairdryer and round brush to give your hair a perfect polished finish. Achieving this at home on your own hair is much trickier. Not everyone has mastered the blow-drying technique. We have the solution: the B.R.U.S.H. heated brush. Since you can use it on dry hair, you’ll be ready in no time. It’s perfect for mornings before heading to school or work, or later in the day to quickly touch up your hair. Here’s a list of the B.R.U.S.H. features!
- Heats up to 180 degrees
- The B.R.U.S.H. is available in 30 mm and 40 mm diameters. The 30 mm diameter is suitable for shoulder-length hairstyles, but can also be used on longer hair to create a tighter curl when you wind the B.R.U.S.H. around your hair instead of creating a loose wave. The 40 mm diameter is suitable for hairstyles longer than shoulder length.
- The technical components of the B.R.U.S.H. are infused with keratin, argan oil, and macadamia oil. When you switch on the B.R.U.S.H. and run it through your hair, these oils are released into your hair, giving it incredible shine. The oils don’t need to be replenished and are released into the hair for at least 4,000 treatments.
- The B.R.U.S.H. features Ionic Technology. This means negatively charged particles are released while using the brush. These neutralize positive ions in the hair, causing the cuticles to close and leaving the hair smooth and frizz-free. This technology is activated when you switch the B.R.U.S.H. to its highest setting.
How do you use the B.R.U.S.H.?

Step 1:
Wash your hair with a volumizing shampoo and conditioner. Try, for example: J Beverly Hills AddBody Shampoo & Conditioner or Platinum Volume Shampoo & Conditioner. This creates extra volume in your hair, which is just what you need.
Step 2:
Use a volumizing mousse (for example: J Beverly Hills Mousse Up or Platinum Mousse) and blow-dry your hair. This gives you a good base for the look. For extra volume, you can choose to blow-dry your hair upside down. Combined with the mousse, this will make your hair look incredibly thick and full. You don’t need to be an expert with a round brush or blow-drying technique. You can even skip the round brush altogether. You’ll use the B.R.U.S.H. heated brush to create this look.
Step 3:
Now that you have a good base, you can start styling your hair. Switch on the B.R.U.S.H. heated brush and wait until it has heated up to its maximum temperature of 180 degrees.
Step 4:
Section your hair and start styling from the bottom, one section at a time. The wave curls outward, and the brush makes this very easy to achieve. Take a section and twist the ends outward with the B.R.U.S.H. Hold the brush in place for a few seconds, then carefully unwind it. Try not to touch the section too much before it has cooled, or you’ll undo the wave. You can pin the section in place for longer-lasting waves.
Step 5:
Once you’ve styled all your hair with the heated brush, loosen the curls by running your hands through them. Then create a middle part.
Step 6:
Gather the top section of your hair and make a bun at the back. As you can see in the photo, it sits fairly high and doesn’t need to be neat. It’s a messy bun, and the hair isn’t slicked back either.
Step 7:
Once you’ve finished styling your hair, set it with hairspray (for example: J Beverly Hills Platinum Shape) for extra hold. Use a hairspray that provides hold without weighing your hair down.
