Water-based foundation

Do you have skin that gets irritated easily, or do you have acne? If so, a water-based foundation is great for your skin! It causes less inflammation and feels a bit “lighter” than oil-based foundations.

Water-based

A water-based foundation isn't necessarily better for your skin. It just depends on how your skin reacts to it. However, oily skin does tend to respond better to water-based formulas because they don’t contain oil. Oil is, of course, naturally oily. A water-based foundation also feels a bit lighter on the skin, although this doesn’t affect the coverage!

Pupa Active Light Foundation

JohnBeerens.com offers a water-based foundation: Pupa Active Light Foundation. This foundation gives the skin a radiant look and minimizes imperfections. The foundation contains SPF 10 to protect the skin from external factors, such as the sun. It provides a matte finish, making it great for oily skin.

Correct color

But then the real challenge is determining the right shade. First, check the undertone of your skin. Do you have blue veins on your wrist? If so, you’re a cool type and have a pink/red undertone. Dark Ivory or Rose would be a good foundation shade for you, depending on your skin tone. Do you have greenish veins on your wrist? Then you’re a warm type and have a yellow undertone. Golden Beige or Natural Beige would be a good shade for you, depending on your skin tone.
