Medik8 Balance Moisturizer™ & Glycolic Acid Activator™ is a daily moisturizer that works with the skin’s natural mechanisms to optimally hydrate combination and oily skin while providing a mattifying effect. The formula is enriched with prebiotics and probiotics to balance the skin and help combat acne-causing bacteria. The combination of active ingredients has anti-inflammatory properties, regulates sebum production, and brightens the complexion.
Medik8 Balance Moisturizer™ and Glycolic Acid Activator™ are two separate products and should not be mixed together. It is recommended to apply glycolic acid 2–3 times a week to avoid overloading the skin. Suitable for all ages and for combination and oily skin types.
Main Ingredients
Prebiotics/Probiotics
Helps heal the skin and reduces scarring, itching, inflammation, and redness. It also helps restore the skin's normal bacterial flora.
Niacinamide
Also known as vitamin B3, it has anti-inflammatory properties and reduces redness and irritation. It also slows down sebum production and prevents pores from becoming clogged, which can lead to breakouts.
Cinnamon Extract
Cinnamon extract is a natural antibacterial agent that helps reduce the bacteria that cause acne, while also balancing the skin's oil production.
Beta-glucan
A natural oat extract. It supports the skin's natural ability to repair itself and provides immediate relief to inflamed skin.
Glycolic acid
Glycolic acid is a powerful AHA. It helps visibly restore and exfoliate the outer layers of the skin, resulting in a brighter complexion.

Usage
In the morning and evening, after cleansing and after using the glycolic acid activator, apply a small amount of Balance Moisturizer and spread it evenly over the face, neck, and décolleté. It is recommended to apply glycolic acid 2–3 times a week to prevent over-nourishing the skin with daily use. Do not mix the Glycolic Acid Activator and Balance Moisturizer directly together. If you use a serum, apply the Glycolic Acid Activator first and the Balance Moisturizer afterward.
