Scrub & peeling
Scrub and Peel
Scrubs and peels are easy ways to remove dead skin cells so that the skin can renew and repair itself. You can do all this at home, without having to visit a beauty salon. We recommend using a scrub or peel no more than once or twice a week, as excessive use can damage the skin. It is important to know the difference between a scrub and a peel so you can make the right choice online and enjoy a product at home that suits you.
Scrub
A scrub removes dead skin cells using coarse particles in the product. By applying the product to your face, feet, or body in gentle circular motions, you manually remove dead skin cells. You can also use an exfoliating glove with a scrub. Be sure to check online which body part the scrub is intended for, as a body scrub is much more abrasive than a facial scrub. This scrub from Zarqa, for example, is specially designed for the feet.
Peel
A peel also removes dead skin cells, but it does not contain any coarse particles. Instead, it contains a specific chemical ingredient that removes dead skin cells. A peel often has a gel-like consistency. Be sure to check online which body part the peel is intended for, as a body peel is much more abrasive than a facial peel. This peel from Darphin, for example, is specially designed for the face.
