BluMaan

The brand was founded in 2014 in Vancouver, Canada, a place known for its nature, friendly people, and startup culture. The brand’s founder, Joseph Andrews, felt there was a lack of high-quality, affordable hair styling products for men. Traditional companies rarely contacted their customers to find out what they wanted or expected from a product. They used YouTube to find out what viewers expected from products. They discovered that professionals and consumers struggled to find a versatile, non-toxic hair styling product with a high hold. With this knowledge, the first product was developed: BluMaan’s Original Styling Meraki.

The mission BluMaan’s team had in mind was to help you express your personal style through the power of good hair styling products. They also believe that hair should be kept in optimal health to achieve the best hairstyles. That’s why all products are safely made in the USA with ingredients that style and nourish hair at the same time. The products are therefore safe for daily use. The brand uses only the best ingredients, and all products are free of sulfates and parabens, cruelty-free, and protect hair health with a gentle formula. The brand helps and guides you in creating a unique look by providing the right information and making products for every hair type.

BluMaan Products

The products include clay, wax, pomade, paste, oil, and a set.

  • BluMaan Clay includes BluMaan Cavalier Heavy Clay and BluMaan Hybrid Cream Clay. Cavalier Heavy Clay provides a strong hold with a natural, matte finish and lots of texture. This clay is ideal for taming thick, curly, or wavy hair. You can restyle this strong-hold clay throughout the day. Hybrid Cream Clay provides a light to medium hold and has a natural finish. This Cream Clay is suitable for thin, fine hair. You have 10 minutes to work with this product before it sets.
  • BluMaan Wax includes BluMaan Original Styling Meraki. Original Styling Meraki provides a strong hold and can be used for pre- and post-styling. The matte finish feels lightweight and doesn’t look like there’s product in your hair. The wax can be used on dry or wet hair and keeps your style in place for up to 10 hours.
  • BluMaan Pomade includes BluMaan Fifth Sample Styling Mask Pomade Low Shine. Fifth Sample Pomade provides a high hold with little shine. It’s a versatile product designed for all kinds of (humid) weather. Even sweaty gyms are no match for this pomade!
  • BluMaan Paste includes BluMaan Monarch Matte Paste. This Monarch Matte Paste provides a medium-high hold and weightless control, making your hair easy to style. Ideal for creating a quiff or slick back!
  • BluMaan Cream includes BluMaan Ascend Volume Cream. Ascend Volume Cream is a lightweight pre-styler that is activated by heat, making hair strands thicker and adding volume. This product works especially well when used with one of the brand’s other products.
  • BluMaan Oil includes Blumaan Cloud Control Hair Oil 60 ml. This Cloud Control Hair Oil deeply conditions and controls hair. This oil contains a unique blend of 12 different natural oils and botanical extracts that help with dry, coarse, and unruly hair. Hair is transformed into noticeably softer, more manageable hair.
  • BluMaan Set includes the BluMaan Discovery Styling Kit and the BluMaan Thick Hair Control System. The Discovery Styling Kit includes all 5 hair styling products in travel sizes.
