Minoxidil 5% must not be used by:

  • People whose hair loss is caused by certain treatments or certain diseases;
  • People using occlusive ointments or other topical medicines to treat scalp conditions.

 

Ingredients

  • The active ingredient in this medicine is minoxidil. Each milliliter of the solution contains 20 mg of minoxidil.
  • The other ingredients in this medicine are propylene glycol, ethanol, and purified water.
