Redken Blondage includes two product lines from the American brand Redken. Redken was founded by hairdresser and chemist Jheri Redding and actress Paula Kent, hence the name Redken. These pigments help eliminate unwanted yellow tones. If you look at a color wheel, you can see that purple is opposite yellow, which is why purple shampoo and conditioner neutralize yellow tones. Purple shampoo and conditioner are not intended to replace your regular shampoo and conditioner, as your hair could end up too purple. For example, if you wash your hair twice a week, wash it once with purple shampoo and conditioner.
