When hair is dry (and damaged), it becomes very frizzy and static. In addition to temperature changes, there are several other factors that can cause hair to become dry.
• Blow-drying
The heat from the blow dryer makes your hair dry and frizzy; always use a heat protectant or serum when blow-drying.
• Heat styling tools
Heat styling tools can also make hair static and dry. Use heat styling tools for as short a time as possible and protect your hair from the heat with a heat protectant.
•Washing your hair
Washing your hair too often removes the scalp’s natural protective oils. As the scalp dries out, the hair loses its protection at the roots. Try to wash your hair as little as possible! Twice a week is enough.
•Sea and pool water
Avoid sea and pool water as much as possible. Salt and chlorine can damage the hair’s natural protective layer. If you do go in the water, apply a protective spray to your hair to prevent it from drying out, and tie your hair up before swimming.

•Avoid hair products containing alcohol
. Alcohol in hair products is a no-go for the hair’s moisture balance. Alcohol dries out the hair and causes it to lose its luster. Not all types of alcohol are bad for the hair. Behenyl alcohol, Cetearyl alcohol, Stearyl alcohol, Cetyl alcohol, Lauryl alcohol, and Myristyl alcohol do not dry out the hair.
• Combing
When you comb or brush your hair frequently, the hair cuticles get damaged. It’s wonderful when there are no tangles in your hair, so the best tip is to comb your hair with a wide-toothed comb. This way, you remove the tangles while causing as little damage to your hair as possible.
•Chemical treatments
One of the main culprits behind dry hair is subjecting it to chemical treatments, such as perms and hair coloring. Can’t avoid these treatments? Then make sure to use extra-effective protection, such as a suitable shampoo and conditioner.
•Temperature changes
Large temperature fluctuations aren’t good for your hair. Going from a dry, warm room outside where it’s only a few degrees makes your hair frizzy and static. Spending a lot of time in dry environments, such as offices and schools, dries out your hair. Before you head out the door in the morning, it’s a good idea to apply a serum to your hair. This will keep your hair looking shiny and frizz-free throughout the day.
•Tanning bed
Sunlight and UV rays can really dry out your hair. When you go out in the sun or use a tanning bed, it’s best to protect your hair with a heat protectant. This creates a protective layer on the hair, preventing harmful particles from sunlight and UV light from penetrating it.
•
Pillow:S night while you sleep, you toss and turn a lot, which can cause your hair to become tangled. The friction between the pillow and your hair damages the hair cuticles. When these cuticles open up, your hair becomes dry and frizzy. Sleep on a satin pillow.

•Water
To maintain the hair’s moisture balance, it’s important to stay properly hydrated. Drink enough water—about 1.5 to 2 liters a day—to maintain proper hydration.
•Heat Protector
When hair comes into contact with heat (from styling tools), it becomes damaged and dries out. Always apply a heat protectant to your hair in the form of a spray or serum. The heat protectant forms a protective layer over the hair cuticles, helping to lock in moisture.
