This look features half-up hair with a high ponytail that includes braids. And with our tips, you’ll be the first to pull off this look perfectly! If that doesn’t make an impression, we don’t know what will.

Step-by-Step Guide

In 4 simple steps, you can transform yourself into atrue festival babe. We'll make it easy for you by walking you through, step by step, how to create this brilliant look. You can do this!

Step 1

Make sure to add some movement or curls to your hair before you start. It doesn’t matter what kind of curl—just go with whatever you like. Don’t forget to use a heat protectant.Ihighlyrecommend Trilliant—it provides protection and shine and has a lovely, sweet, summery scent.

Step 2

Part your hair down the middle. Take two equal sections on each side and braid them into a Dutch braid (reverse braid). Next to the two braids on both sides, create another braid and secure it with a hair tie. Need a little more hold while braiding? Try usingCraft Clay—this clay-like wax firms up the hair and provides optimal hold while braiding.

Step 3

Take the ends of both braids and tie them together into a high ponytail. You've now gotten through the hardest part!

Step 4

Take a small strand of hair from your ponytail and wrap it around the ponytail to hide the elastic. Spray the hair with Sebastian ProfessionalRe-Shaperhairsprayto make sure your look stays perfectly in place. Add some glitter, ribbons, or other decorations, and you’re ready to party! Have fun!
