SPICY PIXIE - "How-to" Step-by-Step Guide

What do you need?

• 2 hair clips
• A hair straightener
• Sebastian Spicy Pixie set

Step 1 - Section off the hair with hair clips

Divide the longer strands of your pixie cut (short hair) into two sections. Then, starting with the first section, begin dividing your hair into smaller sections. Spray the hair with Sebastian Trilliant. This is a spray containing rock crystal extracts. Sebastian Trilliant nourishes, adds a sparkling shine, and protects the hair from the heat of styling tools. Secure the rest of the hair with a hair clip, and then you’re ready to start styling!

Step 2 - Creating flat S waves

Here, too, we use an S curl, though it’s a completely different version from our Texture Wave. Whereas we used an “upward-facing curl” for the Texture Wave, we’ll use a “flat curl” for the Pixie. This creates a beautiful wave, but with slightly less volume, ensuring we still have a sleek, streamlined look and the hair doesn’t stick out. Push the hair into an S shape and then press or squeeze the straightener closed. Push the hair upward through the straightener so that the entire section has a beautiful wave.

Step 3 - Finishing with the RE-SHAPER

Then do this throughout your entire hair. Here, too, the more you vary the height, the more natural it looks and the more texture you create.
