How to use
Step 1. Choose the right comb for your hair type: Fine-tooth comb: for hair types I to IV on the L'Oréal scale* (straight to wavy); Medium-tooth comb: for hair type V on the L'Oréal scale* (curly hair); Wide-tooth comb: for types VI & VII on the L'Oréal scale* (very curly). Note: for some styles (S Waves, curls...) the comb must be removed.
Step 2. Fill the built-in water tank with demineralized water. Using regular tap water may cause malfunctions. Note: the SteamPod still works when the water tank is empty, but for optimal results, fill the water tank before use.
Step 3. Then turn on the device and set the right temperature based on your hair texture: 180°C for fine, sensitive hair (colored or bleached); 200-210°C for thick, natural hair. For extra safety, place the two heat-protective caps on the curl locking guide before straightening.
Step 4. Treat your hair with one of the specially formulated Steampod products to enhance its conditioning benefits. This routine provides optimal protection for the hair fiber and up to 24 hours of anti-frizz protection. Use Steampod Smoothing Cream for normal to thick hair, Steampod Smoothing Milk for finer hair, and Steampod Serum on the ends as a finishing touch for all hair types.
Step 5. Make sure the arrows point downward when styling your hair. *L'Oréal to Walker scale equivalence: - Fine-tooth comb: type 1A to 2C; - Medium-tooth comb: type 3A to 3C; - Wide-tooth comb: type 4A to 4C.
