Usage
Step 1. Choose the right comb based on your hair type: Fine-toothed comb: for hair types I through IV on the L scale* (straight to wavy); Medium-toothed comb: for hair type V on the L(curly hair); Wide-tooth comb: for types VI and VII on the L scale* (very curly). Note: For some looks (S Waves, curls, etc.), the comb must be removed.
Step 2. Fill the built-in water reservoir with demineralized water. Using regular tap water may cause malfunctions. Note: The SteamPod will still work even if the water tank is empty, but for best results, the water tank should be filled before use.
Step 3. Next, turn on the device and set the appropriate temperature based on your hair texture: 180°C for fine, sensitive hair (colored or bleached); 200–210°C for thick, natural hair. For added safety, place the two heat-protective caps on the curl-locking guide before straightening.
Step 4. Treat the hair with one of the specially formulated Steampod products to enhance the conditioning benefits. This routine ensures optimal care for the hair fiber and up to 24 hours of anti-frizz protection. Use the Steampod Smoothing Cream on normal to thick hair, the Steampod Smoothing Milk on finer hair, and the Steampod Serum on the ends as a finishing touch for all hair types.
Step 5. Make sure the arrows point downward when styling your hair.L to Walker scale correspondence: - Fine-toothed comb: types 1A through 2C; - Medium-tooth comb: types 3A through 3C; - Wide-tooth comb: types 4A through 4C.
