This is a shampoo that follows the Curly Girl Method. This shampoo does not contain protein, so if your hair has a lot of elasticity, this product is not right for you.

If you stretch a strand of your hair slightly, does it resist breaking right away and spring back to its original curl? If so, you have normal elasticity and should choose products that do and don’t contain protein.
Does a strand of your hair stretch quite far? If so, it’s highly elastic and lacks protein. In that case, use products that contain protein.
