Description
The Olaplex No. 0 Intensive Bond Building Hair Treatment 155 ml is an additional treatment designed to be used at home as a primer, helping damaged hair recover more effectively. The product strengthens your hair and repairs broken disulfide bonds. It also improves the overall condition of your hair. Olaplex No. 0 is used in combination with Olaplex No. 3 and is the first step in this treatment to further enhance the restorative results. Research has shown that hair is 68% more repaired and 3 times stronger when treated with the combination of Olaplex No. 0 and Olaplex No. 3.
Usage
- Apply Olaplex No. 0 Intensive Bond Building Hair Treatment (155 ml) to dry hair and work it through the hair. Focus on the mid-lengths and ends. Note: Do not apply to the scalp.
- Then let it sit for 10 minutes.
- Do not rinse the product off.
- Then apply Olaplex No. 3PLUS over the No. 0. Let it sit for another 10 minutes. Then rinse thoroughly and wash the hair with Olaplex No. 4 Shampoo and Olaplex No. 5 Conditioner. Use once a week. For severely damaged hair, it can be used 2–3 times a week.
Tip: Comb through the hair thoroughly before applying Olaplex No. 0 so that the liquid can be absorbed properly. Thick, long, or unruly hair can be divided into sections to ensure that every part of the hair is thoroughly treated.
Result
After using Olaplex No. 0, damaged hair is immediately visibly repaired and strengthened. The hair is soft and shiny again!
Curly Girl Method
This is a treatment that follows the Curly Girl Method.
This treatment does not contain protein, so if your hair has a lot of elasticity, this product is not right for you.
How can you tell if your hair has a lot or a little elasticity? The most common way to measure elasticity is to take a wet, freshly washed (without conditioner) strand of hair and stretch it.
Does a strand of your hair break almost immediately without stretching? If so, your hair has low elasticity and contains too much protein. In that case, you actually need products that don't contain protein.
If you stretch a strand of your hair slightly, does it resist breaking right away and spring back to its original curl? If so, you have normal elasticity and should choose products that do and do not contain protein.
Does a strand of your hair stretch quite far? If so, it’s highly elastic and lacks protein. In that case, use products that contain protein.
