How To: Curl Your Hair in 5 Steps with the Steampod 3.0

Preparation
Want your hair to stay styled for as long as possible? Then good preparation is important. L’Oréal Professionnel has two hair creams specially developed for use with the Steampod. There’s a Smoothing Milk for Fine Hair and a Smoothing Cream for Thick Hair. These products contain ingredients activated by steam. After using the Smoothing Hair Milk or Smoothing Cream, your hair will stay soft and frizz-free for up to 3 days. To give the ends of your hair extra care, you can apply the Steampod Anti-Frizz Serum. Distribute the serum through the ends to give your hair an extra boost of care and keep it frizz-free for even longer. Now that your hair is prepared for styling, let’s get curling!
Step 1 - Take a section of hair
The thicker the section of hair you take, the looser and larger the curl will be. When you take a thin section of hair, you’ll get a tight, fine curl.
Step 2 - Place the section of hair between the plates
Make sure you hold the Steampod horizontally, with the arrows pointing down.
Step 3 - Wrap the hair around the Steampod
Wrap the bottom of the section of hair around the Steampod.
Step 4 - Turn the Steampod
Rotate the Steampod 360 degrees toward the roots. After turning it, make sure the arrows on the tool point down again.
Step 5 - Slowly move the Steampod down the hair
Voilà! A beautiful curl! Repeat these steps for the rest of your hair.
