Make sure you nourish your colored hair with the right hair care. Look especially for hair products designed for colored hair. They contain ingredients that can limit and repair damage! Another tip to help close the hair cuticles is to rinse your hair with cold water at the end. You can do this when rinsing out your conditioner or hair mask. Apple cider vinegar is also known for its restorative properties for hair. Mix one cup of apple cider vinegar with two cups of water to make a magic potion for your hair. You can choose not to rinse it out of your hair (don’t be alarmed by the smell!), but if the smell is too much for you, simply rinse the apple cider vinegar out of your hair after a few minutes. With the hair cuticles closed, your hair will look smoother and shinier again!

How to dye your hair at home with Viba Professional
We asked the hair studio’s stylists to tell us how to apply VIBA at home for the best results.
- Mix VIBA Hydrogen Peroxide with the desired VIBA Permanent Colouring Cream at a ratio of 1:1.5. For coloring, use 10 volume; 2 shades lighter requires 20 volume, 3 shades lighter requires 30 volume, and 4 shades lighter requires 40 volume.
- Apply to dry hair (so don’t wash it beforehand), starting at the roots and working toward the ends. Distribute the hair dye evenly through the hair using a brush.
- Leave it on for 30 minutes, then rinse out while massaging with lukewarm water. Then wash your hair with a shampoo specially formulated for colored hair.
- Always use a conditioner or hair mask after coloring to close the hair cuticles again.
